FEATURE STORy: 5th grade biography day

Every year in September, Star of the Sea Campus is visited by some very famous people.

If you thought you saw  Bill Gates, Pocohontas, Davy Crocket or even George Washington, it wasn't your imagination.  It was just the 5th Grade, enjoying their annual Biography Day.  The students read a biography about a famous person and then become that person for a day.

Their teachers, Mrs. Zbin, a.k.a. Betsy Ross, and Mrs. Hoffman, a.k.a., Michelle Obama, say that it is a great way to make learning fun.
