I was born and raised in Waimea, Kaua‘i, graduated from Waimea High School, and attended the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology.
I also played volleyball at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa; coached boys varsity volleyball at Punahou for 10 years, and coached club volleyball for Outrigger Canoe Club.
I started teaching PE at Mary, Star of the Sea School in 1994. Currently, I teach physical education to all grades and serve as the School’s Athletic Director. I also coach volleyball, basketball, and track, and field for Mary, Star of the Sea School.
