Mr. McInerny

8th Grade B, Middle School Math, Vice Principal

Mr. Danny McInerny was born and raised in Hawaii. He was lucky enough to attend 3 schools growing up. He took away valuable experiences from each. These were Kamehameha from K-3, Mary, Star of the Sea from 4th to 8th, and Punahou from 9th – 12th. 
He went on to Loyola Marymount University, a great Catholic university in Los Angeles. Danny was a four year starter and captain of his volleyball team his final two years at LMU. Danny majored in Science, received a minor in Math, as well as his California teaching credential. He is a lifelong teacher and coach in the islands. He began his 32nd year of teaching this year. He is married and has 6 children, 5 boys and 1 girl.  In his free time his says he works out but always seems to find an excuse not to do so. He usually is found gardening with his wife on the weekends where they love to grow roses in their garden.
Danny has found memories of Mary, Star of the Sea. He has many stories about teachers, students, staff, and even a ghost story about the school.
