Theory of Knowledge for 7th & 8th Graders

We’re thrilled to offer a brand-new class at our school this year—Theory of Knowledge (TOK)!

This course, typically reserved for high school students, is now available to our 7th and 8th graders, making it a rare and unique opportunity for middle school students.

In TOK, students dive into the fascinating world of critical thinking, research, and inquiry. They learn to question assumptions, evaluate sources, and build strong, evidence-based arguments—skills that are essential for success in high school, college, and beyond. Whether they’re investigating historical events, exploring scientific phenomena, or debating ethical dilemmas, TOK challenges students to think deeply about the world around them.

The class is being taught by our very own Mrs. Rocheleau, the school librarian, who brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for learning to the table. Her guidance help students develop a strong foundation in research and critical thinking, setting them up for a bright future.
