Middle School Math Teacher

Key Responsibilities
Visionary Instruction: Design and implement engaging math curricula for grades 6-8 that align with modern pedagogical standards and the school’s mission.
Project-Based Learning (PBL): Develop and lead hands-on, inquiry-based projects that connect mathematical concepts to tangible, real-world challenges.
Active Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and interdisciplinary teams to align curriculum, share best practices, and support holistic student growth.
Student Mentorship: Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that accommodates diverse learning styles and encourages students to take academic risks.
Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
Experience: Previous teaching experience is required; specific experience within a middle school setting is strongly preferred.
Core Competencies: Proven expertise in Project-Based Learning and a dedicated, team-player mindset.

Substitute Teacher – Part Time (Ongoing)
The substitute teacher works under the direction of the school principal for a specified period providing consistency of instruction of course curriculum, ensuring appropriate classroom management and student safety while delivering high-quality instruction and commitment to furthering the teachings of the Catholic School.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Successful experience in student teaching or classroom teaching.
2. Positive references and recommendations.
3. Must undergo criminal background check and fingerprinting.
