Athletic Awards 2023

The Catholic School League (CSL) provides 4-8 grade students with the opportunity to learn and develop fundamental skills of different sports such as Volleyball, Basketball and Track and Field. Throughout the school year, students opt-in to train for a sport as an extracurricular activity, and compete with other members of the CSL.

At the end of the year our school recognizes those students that for their effort, determination and a special award goes to those athletes that were the most inspirational amongst their peers.

D1: Student-athletes in grades 4-6 grades

D2: Student-athletes in grades 7 & 8 grades

Volleyball

Our D2 boys volleyball team consisted of 15 player.  We were fortunate to have two players with volleyball experience.  The team improved their volleyball skills and worked well together.  Our record was 4 wins and 2 losses and ended the season by winning the Pool A championship. 

Basketball

Girls Basketball D1 consisted of 8 players.  Their record was 5 wins and 2 losses. We ended our season as the Pool A consolation champs.

Girls D2 Basketball team consisted of 7 players.  Our season record was 3 wins and 3 losses. We ended the season winning the Pool A Consolation championship. 

Boys D2 Basketball team had a total of 11 players.  Our record was 4 wins and 3 losses with 1 tie.  We lost our semi finals game in Pool A.

Novice Category (Athletes in grades 4-6)

There were only 5 novice participants, 4 girls and 1 boy. 

  • Girls Novice placed 4th out of 7 teams,
  • Boys Novice placed 6th out of 7 teams,

  • Girls Open placed 2nd out of 7 teams and
  • Boys Open placed 4th out of 6 teams.
