Labor Day is an annual celebration of the social and economic achievements of American workers. In honor of “Labor Day” students in third grade were asked to interview a parent to learn more about their careers. “What tools do you use?” “What clothes do you wear?” “What type of education and training is required for your job?” were just a few of their interview questions. Their career spotlight series also included a visit from many of the parents who provided some hands on career experiences. Students recently received a cooking lesson from the Ballesteros family on how to make tacos! Mahalo parents for sharing your gifts and talents with us!
