March 2, 2022 marks the beginning of a significant time in the Catholic Church: Lent. Lent is a time Catholics throughout the world honor the Lenten disciplines of prayer, fasting, and the giving of alms. This official first day of Lent, is known as Ash Wednesday. This year’s Easter thems is “Rising with Christ to transform lives”.
Operation Rice Bowl: CRS rice bowls will be sent home in Tuesday’s pouch on March 1. Families are encouraged to participate in the activities in the calendar (see link below), try the suggested meals, and share monetary donations as they can. Rice bowls can be returned to school during the week of April 11.
