We were prepared to build the Ark as the day started with a downpour; but, the clouds broke just in time. MSOS School Pet Blessing Day radiated warmth and joy as furry, feathery, and scaly companions paraded through the halls and onto the Great Lawan. Pets of all shapes and sizes gathered for a cherished tradition. Students eagerly presented their beloved animal friends, from loyal dogs to curious lizards, seeking blessings for their well-being.
Fourth graders hosted the event and were accompanied by Father Frankie. The event fostered a sense of community and compassion. It was a heartwarming spectacle, blending faith, love, and the bond between humans and their animal companions. Pet Blessing Day not only celebrates the joy of pet ownership but also teaches empathy and responsibility to future generations.
