Congratulations to all our school spelling bee competitors who qualified for the school competition this past quarter. The school bee comprised of students from grades 4 to 8 and this year proved that age does not matter! The top 5 finalists forced the bee to a 30th round. A record at MSOS. Last year’s champion, 7th grader Connor L. came through, once again, outspelling runner-up Rafaella G. from the sixth grade. Our spellers this year came prepared and without a doubt impressed students, teachers, and guests with their poise and spelling bee etiquette. Awesome job, spellers!
