I believe the importance of native Hawaiian plants. In this last quarter, the students will plant kalo (taro), ‘uala( sweet potato), kī (ti leaves), and more species of native Hawaiian plants. Also discuss the significant role of these plants in Hawaiian culture and history. The students will care for the garden.
