Ms. Gemeniano

Ms. Bernice Gemeniano was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, and moved to Oahu, Hawaii, in 2012. She grew up with two brothers in a God-loving and close-knit family. Ms. Gemeniano graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (2006) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2010). She is currently working on her Master of Arts in Teaching at Chaminade University of Honolulu.

Before working as a kindergarten teacher, Ms. Gemeniano held various jobs. She worked as a Skills Trainer, Registered Behavior Technician, Education Autism Assistant, and a Mental Health Crisis Staff. She also has experience teaching first and fifth graders. Ms. Gemeniano believes that her previous work experiences were of enormous help in her role as a kindergarten teacher. She taught kindergarten from 2017 to 2023 at Our Lady of Good Counsel School in Pearl City. Ms. Gemeniano is excited to join MSOS as a kindergarten teacher.

Ms. Gemeniano enjoys swimming laps in the pool or the ocean in her free time, snorkeling, free-diving, and reading. She loves all things bees and cats. FUN FACT: She is a Certified Open Water Scuba Diver.
