We have now entered the holiest time of the year in the Catholic Church – Holy Week. During Holy Week, the church dramatizes the events leading up to including the suffering and death of Jesus on the cross. Holy Week began this past Sunday – the Sunday of Passion, also known as Palm Sunday, and ends on Easter Sunday, April 17.
Mary Star of the Sea Church and School invite you to the upcoming services of Holy Week, from Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday:
Holy Thursday
April 14th
(Mass of the Lord’s Supper @ 6:30 pm )originally scheduled for 7:30 pm
Good Friday
April 15th
2 pm Meditative Stations of Cross @ 2 pm
Veneration of the Cross @ 3 pm
Easter Vigil
Saturday, April 16th @ 6:30 pm( originally scheduled for 730 pm)
Easter Sunday
April 17th
(Regular Sunday Mass schedule, but no 5:30 p.m.Mass)
Easter Egg Hunt following the 8:15 am mass
