Mrs. Tanaka

I was born and raised on the Island of O‘ahu, graduated from Roosevelt High School, and continued my education at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, where I received a Bachelor in Elementary Education with credentials in Early Childhood Education.

Prior to teaching here at Mary, Star of the Sea School, I taught a Freshman Seminar class at the University of Hawai‘i, while working toward my Bachelor’s degree. I was also a substitute teacher at MSOS.I have been teaching first grade since 2005 and feel blessed to teach children here at Mary, Star of the Sea School.

Note:  For years, Mrs. Tanaka was also a Mary, Star of the Sea parent.
