Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to Catholic education, serving exclusively in Catholic schools and striving to foster both academic excellence and faith formation in my students. As an active member of Mary, Star of the Sea Church, Mrs. Harrison values the opportunity to integrate Catholic values into the classroom and school community.
She is currently developing a middle school History of Hawaiʻi curriculum that combines historical inquiry with an appreciation for Hawaiʻi’s rich cultural heritage and the contributions of the Catholic Church to the Islands. Her goal is to create engaging, meaningful learning experiences that help students understand Hawaiʻi’s past while encouraging them to become thoughtful, compassionate, and informed members of their communities.
