Mrs. Aczon

Mrs. Cora Aczon is this year’s Middle School Religion teacher and Grade 6B Homeroom Advisor. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and has over 30 years of teaching in Hawaii Catholic Schools. Her commitment to Catholic education and faith began at an early age, having attended Catholic schools for elementary, high school, and college.

Mrs. Aczon is the Choir Director of the school, and also the Liturgy/Music Coordinator of Mary, Star of the Sea Church.

Aside from her love of teaching, Mrs. Aczon is also a pianist who can play almost anything by ear. She began playing the piano at the age of three, and went on to win her first national competition at the age of thirteen. She also plays ukulele, guitar, and accordion.

Mrs. Aczon is blessed to be a part of Mary, Star of the Sea School family. She believes that serving God, bringing a Christ-centered education through teaching, is her mission.
