Mrs. Taylor, MSOS Middle School Art teacher, encourages exploration and experimentation and helps students discover new ways of thinking about art and develop a deeper understanding of the creative process.

6th graders learned how to use short, choppy brush strokes to create a VanGogh-inspired Iris painting.

Cezannne’s art favored a portrait style with a heavy emphasis on black in an approach he called couillarde. The portraits below were created by 7th graders based on the Portrait of Madame Cezanne.
