I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and recently graduated from the University of Portland with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I am currently pursuing a Master of Education with a reading endorsement at the University of Portland.
I came to Honolulu, Hawaii to teach through the Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education, a program which allows their students to teach in various Catholic schools across the country while simultaneously pursuing their master’s degree. I am so grateful that this program has allowed me to become a part of the MSOS community and am so excited for my time here!
Along with teaching, I have a deep passion for music. I participated in theatre all throughout high school and worked as a theatre camp counselor for many years (which is where I discovered my love for teaching)! I have also played the harp for 14 years and have explored piano and guitar. I also love to travel whenever and wherever I can!
